Spring Rewind Tonight!
Join the musicians of Three Rivers Ringers and friends on YouTube tonight, for the premiere of the 2021 Spring Concert: Spring Rewind!
Though TRR’s winter concerts have all had similar themes, TRR has done a wide variety of spring programs over the years… from An American Adventure, to Bells of the Silver Screen, Out of this World and Shall We Dance? Tonight, you’ll hear favorites from that back catalogue including Fred Gramann’s moving Prelude on Herzliebster Jesu, music from the movies including The Magnificent Seven and 2001: A Space Odyssey, rock hits including Stairway to Heaven, and much more!
And don’t miss the World Premiere of a brand new piece of handbell music by one of the best composers working today, Jason W. Krug, commissioned by Three Rivers Ringers and filmed in person just two weeks ago! The musicians of TRR gathered again this spring for the first time in over a year, masked and distanced, to prepare and record this exhilarating piece of new music which will appear as part of the Spring Rewind concert. The new piece is fast-paced, dynamic, exciting… and a great new addition to the handbell repertoire.
